Building your own base is encouraged, and free compound housing is there for those who would rather skip the build.
Free Outpost Compound Homes
Choosing a pre-built Outpost home is completely optional! Survivors who love building are highly encouraged to create their own unique homes and bases anywhere construction is permitted. Prefer to skip construction and start exploring? Claim one FREE ready-made home in a hostile-free, themed Outpost compound instead. Communities are available across Forest, Burnt Forest, Desert, Snow, and Wasteland. Explore 150+ themed homes and hidden hideaways. The optional first home is free each season; additional homes are a flat $10 each per season.
